Small Georgian Stars GEORGIA

Dancing as a tool for hapiness. The leader of the group, Tamar Chaduneli, says that "the journey to Poland is their chance to change their lives".

Among the many possible extracurricular lessons for the foster children in the orphanage in Tbilisi, they chose a traditional Georgian dance. The Caritas Georgia Foundation is trying to provide a friendly environment for the appropriate development of children by organizing activities which widen their horizons by learning English, hairdressing, puppetry workshops, singing, arts and crafts, embroidery, computer practice, etc. Every Georgian child, however, is from an early age taught traditional dancing and singing. There are few dance steps in the world as dynamic as Georgian gestures, or as graceful as Georgian movements that give the impression as if gently floating in the air. The supernatural costumes, dancing and singing mean that when someone has seen Georgia, they will remember forever. The group "Small Georgian Stars" is made up of dancers hit hard by fate. Most of them are orphans and half-orphans living below the poverty line.
