Children from the Langa community from Rajasthan (descendants of Kalbelian nomad tribes) were born in ancient families of artists. Performing their traditions comes as natural as breathing. In flowing skirts, the girls will dance and swirl, replicating the movements of a serpent-god. Kalbelian dancers are assumed to be the modern substitutes of the snakes in the ancient enchantment performances. The boys will sing traditional songs inspired in Hindi mythology and tales, and play the Sindhi Sarangi (a string instrument), Dholak (percussion) and the Kartaal (wood clappers).
