A varied group of children takes part in YACD’s activities in Taroudant. Together they create a performance which crosses socioeconomic and cultural borders and connects them to their roots. The group is preparing a dance with a strong spiritual meaning for Muslim peoples: Issawa - a ceremony which represents a mystical journey ascending towards God. This trance music is a ritual of blessing, where laughter, singing and dancing play an essential part. Its goal is to create an atmosphere of unity and respect, promoting harmony amongst all people.
