Zarzma is a village of 321 people situated in Adigeni Municipality of Samtskhe-Javaketi region, in the southern part of Georgia. It is one of the most vulnerable communities of the Municipality and the economic situation of families is very low. The only school in the area is the Zarzma public junior (9 grades) school, attended by 60 children, and there is no entertainment space, recreational or additional educational services / facilities for youth to develop. Dance and dance classes are what makes a day for Zarzma youth, and any kind of educational intervention can bring huge positive results for them. This year the group from Zarzma community, supported by World Vision Georgia, will share their culture through a presentation of traditional Georgian dances.
